Tears trickled down her cheeks as she looked from her father to Jekahl, "Y-your wounds," Zelda stuttered out, a gloved hand coming out in attempts to help him but it was too late. It seemed that it was too late for both her best friend and father, which alone made her heart shatter. "J-Jekahl, w-we need to get you help," She let out a soft sound, watching him fall to the ground as she attempted to catch him. The crimson liquid automatically splattered from his wound and onto her dress. "Jekahl...w-wake up...F-father..." The princess shook quietly, her arms coming around the guard in a sorrowful manner. "...please...go in peace." Sapphire optics closed, the tears now slow.

Atreyu stepped in the room softly, "Princess, I'm sorry," he said remorsefully, he truely felt bad deep down, Jekahl was a both a good man and a damn good Sheika, but Atreyu had to do what he did and theat requiered the sacrifice, "Jekahl wasn't the man you thought he was."

Zelda's eyes shifted to Atreyu harshly, a small glare clear within them. How dare he...how dare this man...the one that killed her friend, come into her Father's throne room and start to defile a good man's name! "Explain yourself this instant," The princess demanded in a harsh tone, one that she promised herself she would never use with people.

"Jekahl was the one who killed your father, I was just assigned to replace the King's former bodyguard and Jekahl used the opportunity to betray his own people," Explained Atreyu, "Once I realized the tretchery I was left with no other choice but to kill him."

Zelda paused for a moment, listening to the man's words with dilated eyes. "...please leave," She commanded. "The throne room is only for honorable people." She wouldn't say she didn't believe him, but it was unlikely that Jekahl murdered her Father. He loved their family, the princess knew that for a fact.

"As you wish, you highness," replied Atreyu with a bow, backing away untill he left the room.

Zelda looked down at the dead man in her arms, a soft sigh escaping her rose-colored lips. They would need to have a burial for both men...she didn't care if some of the people wouldn't agree to have one for Jekahl, he was a good man and if need be, the princess would just have to demand it. "Father...Jekahl...I'm sorry," She sighed, her bangs covering her eyes as they scanned to the floor.

Zelda let out a soft sigh as she sat in the throne room, looking out the window with sorrowful eyes. The maids had cleaned up everything and taken care of the bodies, now she was being forced to sit where her Father once was.

Link found the throne room and was granted access, He timidly entered, "Um, excuse me... Princess, I appologize for disturbing you, but... it is a matter of upmost importance," Link said humbily, almost surprised to see how young... and beautiful the princess was.

Sapphire optics shifted to meet Link's eyes, offering him a small, yet sad, smile. "Don't apologize, you're not disturbing anything," Zelda began, moving herself off the throne to stand before him. "What's troubling you...?"

"I have been guided by the goddess Feore to come see you," replied Link, he swallowed nervously, "I have come on behalf of a prophecy."

Her eyes widened at the monk's words, pausing for a moment before simply nodding in return. "I see...and what does the Goddess Feore want with me...?" Zelda questioned in a kind tone.

"She told me to find, 'the chosen six' and I have reason to belive you are one of them," replied Link trying to sound professional, he had never been in a castle before in his life, this was quite an experience for him.

"May I ask what those reasons are?" Zelda offered a sad smile, holding back a sigh. Normally she would be honored to even be thought of as a chosen anything, but at the moment she simply didn't have the mental strength for all of this.

"You're family's crest apreared on the back of my hand," answered Link removing his lether glove again to reveal the triforce symbol, all but one of the triangles were just darkened skin while the one of courage was actually metalic.
