[glow=green,2,300]This is Hyrule Castle, home to the beloved King Philius and Queen Zelda II. Their only daughter, Princess Zelda III, can usually be seen strolling along in the royal gardens with her Sheikah gaurdian.[/glow]

Sapphire optics gazed around the castle walls, a soft sigh emitting from her rose-colored lips. "They're growing nicely," Zelda commented to herself with a gentle smile, her eyes locked on the castle's garden from one of the higher windows resting in the hallway. Everything seemed peaceful for the moment, which is the way she loved it. The princess only wished there was more she could do for her people, though she was aware that she couldn't help everyone, that didn't mean she couldn't try. A true princess, someone who ruled over people, should have been willing to die for them and love them as her own, which she was.
"I should go help water them." Zelda tore her gaze from the window, deciding to help the maids tend to the garden. It wouldn't be fair to make them do everything when she had two working arms. No matter what, the princess wouldn't sit back and do nothing but dish out orders, she would take part in helping anyone and everyone she could, while, of course, following her dear Father's rules.
Heels clicked onto the ground as Zelda headed down the decorated hallway, the soft smile never leaving her lips.

A young man, about 23, approached her, stepping softly as per his nature.
"Good morning, Princess." Jekahl greeted her with a smile.
He stood around 5'10" with had a slender, obviously flexible build. As a Sheikah, he was clad in a uniform that resembled a deep-blue ninja costume, holding on it the ever-present Sheikah eye design in the center of the chest. His uniform lacked a mask, he felt they were rather unprofessional, and stopped halfway up his neck.
Dull, green hair waved lightyly just over his traditional red eyes as he raised a hand in greeting.
"Up and about rather early as usual?" He asked, finally catching up to her.

Zelda's eyes flickered to the side as she heard a man's familiar voice, the smile growing. "Oh, good morning, Jekahl," She greeted, her hands still clasped together in front of her dress. "I wanted to help the maids water the flowers, would you like to come with me?" There was a hopeful look clear in her sapphire optics, turning partially so she could see him better.

"Of course." He laughed lightly. "It is my job, Princess." Jehkal added, walking beside her. "Always the little worker...Why do you insist on doing such menial tasks when you've been born as royalty?" He smiled, looking ahead down the corridor.
It wasn't like he didn't know the answer, he always teased her about these things. So, seeing as today was no different, he continued his barrage of bugging. "Working in the gardens, helping people around town, all you are required to do is lounge around...but you just can't do that can you?" He laughed.

It took a while to make her bodyguard to understand it was alright to tease fun at her as if they were siblings or close friends, because to Zelda they were. If he was willing to risk his life to just save hers, the least she could do for him was offer her friendship. "Now what kind of princess would just laze around all day, Jekahl?" She asked in a small tone, though it was laced in kindness. "I don't recall bodyguards watering flowers either," Zelda taunted, stepping down the hall for the castle's exit. "Would you mind coming into town with me later? I'd like to help serve food."

Jehkal put his hands slighty in the air. "You caught me." He smiled.
"Well, the normal kind of princess would, I suppose." The sheikah man answered her question with a thoughtful look. "Though, I can't really say. You're the only princess I know." He laughed softly. "But then again, you aren't really a normal princess, are you?" He would've gone into a long, historical lecture about her family's roots, had he been a crazed old man. But, luckily for the both of them, he wasn't.
Registering her final request, he gave a quick nod. "I should like to princess, yes. That sounds rather fun, I think." Jekahl piped in a happy note.

Heels clicked on the ground as she ran up to the throne room, about to turn the corner when something caught her eyes. The vision was blurred, but it seemed that someone was being harmed from outside. "...Jekahl?" Zelda questioned in shock after a moment, moving over to the window as the vision became clear.

Arteyu noticed the princess in the Window, but continued to proceed to the castle where his presence was needed, to explain the events that had just happened.

"...Jekahl...?" Zelda spoke again, waiting for the man to get off the ground but he wasn't. He wasn't moving at all. Crimson liquid shined beneath the sun, confirming the thoughts in the princess' mind. "Jekahl..." Warm tears built in her sapphire optics, refusing to cry. He wouldn't want her to...that man, his so called friend had just slaughtered him now he DARED enter the castle? Jekahl wasn't the only one she had to worry for right now, her Father had to be her first priority. "F-father...?" Zelda spoke in a shaky tone, her hands coming out to push open the throne room's doors.

Jekahl, shortly after the princess had entered the throne room, entered the dim light of the castle halls. "ATREYU!" He yelled, grasping the wall for support. He gripped his wound again. The wrap was already soaked in his blood. He narrowed his eyes, urging them to focus. He darted forward again.
The maid had spoken...the king...He immediately changed his course to the Throne. If Atreyu had already been there-...

Zelda could no longer contain the tears as she saw her Father's dead body where the maids found him. "F-father...!" She called out in a shaky voice, stepping forward in disbelief. Her Father couldn't be dead, he was the King...he was the only one left to rule this country, she couldn't take his place. She needed him...he was her Father. "F-Father..." The princess' pace finally broke out into a small run, bending down beside the King's corpse.

Gasping for any hope of breath, Jekahl entered after hearing the princess yell for the King. "Princess..." He said softly, partially out of empathy, partially out of lack of oxygen. His vision was weak, but he knew the sight before him.
Blood now ran down him chest, staining the white sheikah eye with what looked like a single tear cascading from it from the contant flow. "Zelda...I'm sorry..." He said shakily, making his way to her side. He clutched his chest again, kneeling beside her.
"If I'd known..." He was weezing slightly now. "...I would've..." He couldn't speak...he didn't kow what to say. His last words came as a whisper as he collapsed.
"I'm so sorry princess."

Atreyu stopped at the doorway, good, Jekahl was dead so his secret was safe.
