~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "It's just through here, sir." He said, leading Links' horse by the reigns. "This is the entrance to the castle, just show those who question you your hand there and they'll let ya' through." He nodded to Link.
Link nodded as he entered the castle making his way to where he wasn't sure but he needed to speak with the Princess.
"Here we are," Zelda spoke quietly, her eyes automatically trained on the flowers once they entered the gardens. "I'm not sure if you like any of the flowers...but this is it," She nodded quietly.
Link's eyes widened seeing the garden, it must've been 10 no 20 times larger and more diverse than the what seemed now puny gardens of the monestary, "Not like them are you kidding, I'[ve never seen so many before," replied Link moving to inspect them.
Zelda paused for a moment before smiling softly, the blush returning to her cheeks. "Really...? I've never met someone who enjoyed studying flowers before."
"When you live in a monestary, mostly all you do is either find something to study or pray," sighed Link, he been particularly drawn to small animal life and flowers, they didn't do much along the lines of move or attack much, except the animals but the ones around the monestary were relativly tame.
The princess hesitated for a moment, picking up a small watering can. Half the plants still needed to be watered, so it would be best to do it now while she was down there. Zelda carefully started to drip the liquid over the delicate petals, her eyes focused on them. "What made you want to become a monk...?"
"Well I was born in the Ordon province and when you grow up there, you either make something of yourself and commit to teh gospel and protect the spirit spring or you provide for the village by either farming or ranching," answered Link, he had always been drawn to the idea of protecting something that's part of 'the big picture' than just sitting around watching the grass grow.
Zelda smiled, "That sounds nice...I hardly left the Castle when my Father was still here, the only time I snuck out was to check on the garden," She let out a small laugh. "I've never been outside of Hyrule."
"Speaking of which," sighed Link remembering why he was here, "I still have 4 other chosen to find, and oce I find them I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do, but... you don't have to I mean it's your choice but would you maybe want to..." mumbled Link, he found it hard to ask the princess if she wanted to leave the castle and go with him to help find these other random strangers, I mean who would.
Sapphire optics scanned up to Link once he began talking, a confused look clear on her face. What was he trying to ask...? Clearly the boy was extremely timid about everything, but Zelda didn't mind, hopefully he would feel more comfortable around her after. "Would I...?" The princess rose a brow.
"Would you like to travel with me to help find the other 4 chosen?" asked Link finaly spitting it out, he must've been so rude to ask that.
Her eyes widened at Link's sudden request, "I uh..." Zelda paused. Her Mother was still in the Castle to take charge...and it was about time she made her own decision, plus, he was sent by the Goddess, she couldn't deny that. "I accept your offer."
Link had closed his eyes and braced himself for the rejection but then realaxed and opened his eyes to look up at here, surprise in his expression, "Really?" he asked just to make sure his ears didn't decieve him.
"Yes," Zelda answered once again, looking back at the Castle. "My people will be fine with my Mother in charge...though, I'm not sure if I'll be allowed anywhere without a guard," She frowned.
